StowAg to hold an open day at our Thame Store.
Family-owned and independent agricultural supplies business, Stow Agricultural (StowAg), to hold an open day at its new Thame store on Wednesday 9th November open to anyone working locally in farming, land management or smallholders.
We’re a family-owned agricultural supplies business that has been supporting farmers and rural businesses in the Cotswolds since 1969 with everything from nuts and bolts and fencing posts to complete cattle feed management systems.
Our new store in Thame, just 2 minutes from Junction 7 of the M40, officially opened in early October, and today we're inviting farmers, the farming community, estate owners and smallholders to an informative and fun open day.
Taking place on Wednesday 9th November it will be a fantastic opportunity for farmers or smallholders to meet our team, who will be on hand to advise you on your estate, equipment and anything else to ensure your farm keeps on working.
We also have local veterinarians Norcal attending on hand to ask any questions on your game, poultry or herd health, as well as representatives from The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RABI) who will be available to talk about specific financial or well-being challenges you or your farming business may be facing.
It will also allow all that visit to peruse some of the 15,000 lines of stock we have in our brand-new, purpose-built store that Jeremy Clarkson called "the best shop in the universe" in one of his Sunday Time articles.
We're an independent and local business that understands the farming industry well by supporting and working with rural businesses for over 50 years. We're here to help support you with the products that keep a farm going and the expert advice, knowledge and expertise that will support you personally.
StowAg Thame Store Manager Adam Willsher commented: "We understand the challenges that agricultural-based businesses have faced these past few years; with that in mind, our team are here to help support you with our extensive knowledge accumulated over the past five decades. Please ask us any questions. We hope you can join us for a day of learning, support and a tasty hog roast as well as beer from local brewers XT Brewery".
The open day on Wednesday 9th November takes place at the StowAg Thame store, Unit 12 Rycote Lane Farm, Milton Common, Thame OX9 2NZ.
