StowAg, a renowned supplier of timber, agricultural and equestrian products, is excited to announce the opening of its third store in Hampshire, following its merger with Farm & Country Supplies.
This expansion marks a significant milestone in StowAg’s 55-year history, strengthening its presence in the agricultural supply industry and further supporting British farmers and rural communities.
Founded in the heart of the Cotswolds, StowAg has served the region's agricultural and timber supply needs for over five decades. The merger with Farm & Country Supplies brings together two renowned family-run businesses with a shared passion for the countryside and a commitment to supporting the essential needs of British farmers.
This merger enhances StowAg’s ability to serve customers across Hampshire, the Cotswolds, Oxfordshire, and beyond while preserving the local, community-focused ethos that both companies are known for.
The newly branded StowAg store in Alton will officially open its doors on Monday, 7th October. Customers will be greeted by familiar faces, as the same team from Farm & Country Supplies, including local sales representatives, will remain on hand to provide their trusted support and advice. Local farmers and rural businesses can expect the same personalised service they have come to rely on, along with exciting new additions to the store’s product range.
By merging with StowAg, the Alton store will significantly expand its offerings. Customers will now access over 15,000 agricultural products from StowAg’s extensive catalogue, including essential supplies for fencing, livestock equipment, tools, and rural clothing. In addition, the store will continue to cater to equestrian needs, maintaining its popular range of equine products.
As part of this exciting expansion, the Alton store will also benefit from StowAg’s enhanced team of animal health experts. These specialists will be available to offer free advice on animal health & wellbeing, ensuring that farmers and animal owners receive the best possible support. StowAg’s animal health experts are also equipped to provide on-farm visits, offering practical, hands-on assistance tailored to the specific needs of each farm.
As StowAg continues to grow, its core mission remains unchanged: to back British farming by keeping the countryside working. The company understands the importance of supporting rural communities, and this expansion is a direct reflection of StowAg’s ongoing dedication to meeting the needs of its customers, both old and new.
